Construction garbage?
« on: August 09, 2008, 11:31:50 AM »
What's the right way to dispose of construction garbage? I'm about to reno the kitchen and would need to throw out the old cabinets and appliances. Where/when/how is that done?

Thanks a bunch!

Also, can anyone recommend some inexpensive demolition guys? Thanks!

Your contractor will haul it away. Make sure it's in his contract to remove debris daily. If anything is in working order, you can haul it to Build It Green, in Astoria. They'll recycle/sell any working appliances and things in relatively decent condition (i.e. cabinets, counters).
