Transportation Alternatives will be leading feeder rides from a different location in Queens on each of the days of Summer Streets.
You can get more info here. For those who don't know Summer Streets is a new program from the DoT where they will close Park Ave from the Brooklyn Bridge up to 72nd St to all car traffic and open it up to the community. This is not a street fair, merchants along Park may be out of the street but you won't see sock vendors or funnel cake vendors (not that I have anything against socks or funnel cake). Summer Streets takes place 8/9, 8/16 and 8/23 from 7am-1pm.
To sign up for a feeder ride send your full name and the neighborhood of the ride you wish to do to
summerstreets@transalt.org or call 212.629.8080. Riders will receive a special gift when they stop by the T.A. tables at Summer Streets. Here is the schedule:

You can also check out the 30 sec PSA running on CBS here.Even if you don't ride you should check out Summer Streets, it's a great experiment about opening up our public space for good times and if people don't come out that's what it'll remain, an experiment. Plus if you do the feeder ride you'll get to meet me, and that is an experiment in itself.
