Helicopter noise

Was anyone else woken up by the sound of helicopters around 3am last night? Anyone have any idea what was going on?

Yeah, it woke me too. They circled for a while with the spotlight, then a while without. I couldn't find anything online about what was going on though.

As I was getting my coffee this morning I bumped into someone that wasn't bothered by the helicopters, but indicated a police officer was shot.

I called the 115 this afternoon and they said there was no report of a shooting. They were however looking for someone the details of which were not available.

Correction: As the report indicates, police officers were shot at.
