FreedomPop internet

Does anyone use or have previously used FreedomPop as their internet provider?  I really don't want to do business with Verizon or Time Warner and there are very few options left.  FreedomPop looks intriguing but their customer service is supposedly not so great.

FreedomPop has all sorts of problems. They use Sprint's network, which is not very fast, and you get VERY little data per month for the home, only up to 10GB. It is good if you are a low-intensity user of low-speed applications, so just some email and occasional Web browsing. But if you want to do Netflix or anything like that it's useless.

Look into Earthlink. They use Time Warner's network, but it's only $41.95 for 10 Mbps. $29.95 for the 1st 6 months. Probably the best deal for high-speed internet in NYC. Buy a Motorola modem off eBay for $10 to avoid modem fee.

Thanks!  I will take a look at Earthlink.  I forgot they exist.
