How many outfits does one dog need?!?
Hmmm, now let's see:

18 for everyday indoor use
10 for everyday outdoor use
3 exclusively for rain
4 exclusively for snow
6 for really cold weather
4 for special occasions
3 exclusively for Christmas pictures
4–6 everyday hoodies
4–6 everyday t-shirts
3 warm pajamas for nights when there is no heat

I hope I haven't forgotten anything!

I keep it simple.

If you want really unique stuff and/or inexpensive...Ebay is hard to beat ??? (hardly a secret).  They will have 10,000+ pet apparel at any given time.  If you don't mind the paypal BS or the waiting, this is absolutely the way to get it.

Discovered a new pet store over in Astoria:

Whiskers Holistic Pet Care.
19-25 Ditmars blvd.
Astoria
718-626-8590

they have all the name brand, high quality pet foods: Innova, Wellness,  Canidae, Solid Gold, Etc. etc.

And they have free delivery (not sure if there's a minimum price for delivery.)

Really great pet store and it's off of Astoria Park so it could be a twofer: park and shop!

While I was in Whiskers Pet Store (See post above this one), I checked out their bulletin board cuz I'm always looking for additional dog walkers.

I found this card:  HOWARD BEDOR CAT GROOMING - In your home, No tranquilizers, By appointment only
212-673-3922       www.hbcatgrooming.com

I remember this came up awhile ago so figured I'd post it here for reference.

Buddy, I thought you had posted about Super Doggy Wonder Kitty, but I didn't find it on a search.  This shop carries most better brands of pet foods, is well stocked, clean and nicely organized.  I don't remember the hours, but I went on a Sunday evening at approximately 6:30 and they were still open.  Their business card says that they also offer grooming services by appointment.

I just found this article from The Queens Gazette on Whiskers Holistic Pet Care.  It seems like this is a second branch of the store.  The first one is in Manhattan.

Good Pet Supply Store in Woodside/JH?
« Reply #36 on: August 30, 2008, 09:09:57 AM »
I'm moving to a new place in Woodside (67th Street & 41st Ave) and am excited that my new place allows small pets.  I'll be adopting a pet rabbit or a pair of rabbits once I settle in.  Of course, I will be needing to feed them.  Does anyone know of a good pet supply store?  I used to go to a place (but this was upstate NY) that sold Nutrena rabbit pellets in bulk (like 35 cents a pound).  All I'd really need to get from this store on a regular basis would be pellets and hay.  I plan to buy big bags of woodstove pellets for the litterbox at home depot.

Why don't you send a PM to the person who started a thread about bunny walker.  They may know where to shop.

BTW, I was in Whiskers today over in Astoria and they had a section devoted to rabbits.  They deliver, too.  I asked for you and they said they had food, hay etc.

I was over in College Point a bit earlier this evening and noticed that a PETCO is set to open soon.  It will be located right next door to the Waldbaums supermarket in the mall next to Target, Old Navy, BJ's, etc.

YES! Saw the Petco sign going up this afternoon next to Waldbaum's and close to Target.  Is this the first Petco in Queens?  Can't recall seeing another...

There's a PETCO over in Howard Beach, Queens.  Not sure of others though.

Although I live in Woodside, I specifically drive all the way to the Ditmars area of Astoria for Whiskers.  The staff there is amazing, and if you ask for something and they do not have it in stock, they offer to have it shipped over from their other store.  Service is always friendly and helpful, and they have what I need for my pet rabbits (Oxbow hay and pellets).
