The Road to College Starts at Sunnyside Community Services

Starting March, 2016, high school students will be taking a significantly different SAT exam than previously. In an effort to level the playing field, everything about the SAT has been changed, from what is tested to how the exam is scored. What has not changed is need for students to prepare rigorously so they have the skills – and the confidence – to succeed.

Studies show that students who take a test preparation program are more likely to do well on the exam. To meet the need of local students, Sunnyside Community Services’ College Readiness Program is offering a test prep program tailored to the new SAT. The course includes test taking strategies designed for the new test, along with instruction that enables students to improve their skills in reading, writing and math.

CRP’s 10-week intensive SAT Prep program meets on Fridays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., February 5 to April 22, 2016. Call (718) 784-6173 ext. 436. Enrollment is limited; early registration is advised.

SCS is located at 43-31 39th Street, Sunnyside, NY. For more information, contact Sunnyside Community Services at (718) 784-6173 ext. 436, or email info@scsny.org
