Not sure if it would be successful, but would love to have a kids consignment store that also carried toys. Somewhere parents could drop off good quality stuff and find something else they might need.

Restaurants & Food / Re: No neighnorhood coffee on 34th and 35th ave?

I wouldn't mind another new coffee shop either to visit. The owners of Addictive Wine used to have one, but then they decided to focus on tapas instead. Having a good coffee shop doesn't necessarily mean gentrification. Koreans and Thais open up specialty coffee shops all the time. Doesn't mean that the place is catering towards a gentrified crowd.

Restaurants & Food / Re: Craft Beer in JH
« on: November 25, 2015, 01:44:09 PM »
We spent an evening in the newly renovated UFC on Roosevelt in the downstairs section. They have an enormous selection of craft beers and ciders (flight of beer selection, growlers, etc). We had no idea, and don't think a lot of people in the area have been there. Surprisingly, the downstairs drinking area reminded us of the East Village. I highly suggest checking it out. Plus beer and Korean fried chicken go great together.

Hey I don't see anything on their FB page. Maybe it's the Armondo's in Brooklyn?

Restaurants & Food / Any JH restaurants who do Thanksgiving?
« on: November 02, 2015, 10:51:52 AM »
My family wants to do Thanksgiving at a restaurant this year. Anyone know of any JH restaurants that do a nice Thanksgiving dinner? Something a bit more upscale than a diner. Thanks!
