Neighborhood Chat / Resources for new parents in JH?

Hi, I'm looking for meetup groups and resources in the neighborhood geared towards new parents. I know there's an occasional dad meetup, but I haven't come across any new mommy groups, baby classes, or other related community groups/events. The QueensMamas site looks about 2 years out of date. Hoping to get connected and looking for any resources that might be of help. Thank you!

Neighborhood Chat / 4:30-5am at 74th/Roosevelt--safe?

So this is a bit of a silly question-- I normally don't travel so early in the morning so I thought I'd ask. I have an early (6am) train to catch out of Penn tomorrow. What is the 74th/Roosevelt stop like at around 5am? Bustling enough to be considered safe for a woman to walk through (+ the morning after St. Patrick's Day)?

I've lived in NYC forever but always take safety precautions because I've had my fair share of bad experiences, a few of them being at that transit hub.

Community Trade and Classifieds / Selling: Unique Crate and Barrel dining table

Selling a unique dining table purchased from Crate and Barrel. (Can also be used as large workspace.) Metal base and top with wood trim, it's really nice and matches anything.

Dimensions: 48"wide, 28" depth and 30" height.

Original retail was over $500; small but unnoticeable nick on side of wood detail (can send pic, it's minor), which is why I'm selling for less. Also looking to sell ASAP.

FYI for pickup: it's all one piece-- the frame and base do not come apart.

Hi everyone. I'm new-ish to the area, and I'm searching for a permanent spot to park my car. Having no luck on craigslist, I thought I might ask the locals for any tips: I know a bunch of buildings have garage parking and rent out to non-residents. If anyone has leads on any of these, or any other recent signs around the neighborhood about available parking spots for rent, please let me know! Thanks!
