Jackson Heights Life

I live in a co-op here in Jackson Heights. My toilet is the flushometer kind (Zurn Aquaflush WS1 LC) and needs to have its diaphragm replaced. The co-op manager knows no one who can do the repair. The super is retiring soon and no longer does these kinds of jobs. The manager told me to look for a plumber with a COI (certificate of insurance) and a license, which he will have to verify, so I need to coordinate the repair with him. Does anyone here know any qualified plumber who can do this kind of job? My super did this job many years ago and it took him about 20 minutes to replace the diaphragm, but we're living in a different world now. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

For many years I have done business with a local repairman who is very friendly and extremely reasonable.  His name is Hoan To (he's from Vietnam).  The name of his shop is 3E Enterprise, located at 32-63 87th Street, near the Northern Blvd. corner.  His telephone number is 718-779-8476.  He has fixed and/or restored my 3 computers many times, sometimes after a crash. He works very fast, sometimes while you wait (if it's something simple), but he will plug in the PC and attempt to diagnose the problem while you're there and will give you an estimate.  He has never charged me more than the initial estimate and sometimes charges me less or nothing at all, depending on the problem.  Check him out.
