Real Estate & Home Improvement / A question about construction in the Berkeley
« on: January 30, 2015, 05:57:29 AM »
Good morning,
We are trying to renovate a bathroom in the Berkeley. We were told that we need an architect to sign off on the project. We are not moving plumbing, just closing off a shower and adding it to the bathtub, you would think a master plumber would suffice. The cost for the architect's sign off is astronomical and it's difficult to find a contractor who can get the paperwork completed to start the project.
Has anyone had this experience in the Berkeley? Can you recommend a contractor that has worked with the management company.
Please PM me or post the information I'm sure other residents could benefit from the information. Thanks.
