Assemblyman DenDekker invites you to meet and take a photo with Santa Claus! Santa Claus will be at Assemblyman DenDekker’s office at 75-35 31st Ave, Suite 206B, East Elmhurst from Thursday, December 15 – Sunday, December 18. He will be available on Thursday and Friday, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. All are welcome at this fun and free holiday event! Please bring your own camera.

Assemblyman DenDekker has partnered with the Fire Department of New York and the American Red Cross to provide free smoke/carbon monoxide alarms and installation appointments on Sunday, May 1 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Individuals can sign up for free installation of smoke alarms - there will be no limit to how many smoke alarms can be installed. Additionally, there will be 100 smoke alarms available to take home that day without installation sign-up. The 100 smoke alarms will be limited to one per household and distributed on a first come first serve basis.

Assemblyman DenDekker will host a free e-recycling event on Saturday, September 13 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Jackson Heights Shopping Center (77th St between 30th and 31st Avenues). Members of the community are invited to safely dispose of unwanted and/or broken electronics, including: working & non-working computers, monitors, printers, scanners, keyboards, mice, cables/cords, TVs, VCRs, DVD Players, phones, audio/visual equipment, cell phones, & PDAs.
