It's a really interesting experience with top quality ingredients. It's a little bit of a "scene" but they really bring it with the sushi. It may not be for everyone, but we will definitely be back.

When I saw your title, I wanted to grab my fishing pole. What a disappointment.

It's bizarre to complain that a not for profit group is installing beautiful plantings in Jackson Heights. Obscene? Please.

The problem on the street is not solvable by anyone on this board. An improvement in the level of compassion as we discuss our issues is possible. If you have a secret cure for addiction, please share it. Otherwise let's simply try to be kinder to our more troubled neighbors and recognize that they are also part of the Jackson Heights family.

I hope all of the fatties, Negros, beaners, cripples, crackers, white trash and retards agree with you that terminology doesn't matter. Oh, the drunkards, too.

They should be called alcoholics. They suffer from a disease which is one of the leading causes of death in the United States. Most do not recover. They will eventually die of alcohol related illness. Do you have a special jeering name for anyone who has lung cancer and ever smoked?  I think a little pity and compassion is called for.

A person who is comfortable using the word drunkard probably also would use the words Negro and retard. Just saying.

While we do use Lyft sometimes, for important trips to the airports, we are very happy with Mexicana.

Trust me, no solutions to much of anything will be coming from this board. My taking exception to using the word "drunkards" in the place of homeless people or alcoholics has caused as much activity as this board has seen in months. I just want to point out the casual cruelty of some posters here. My hope is that they will be less so in the future. New York City is not holding its breath to hear from Jackson Heights Life.

This whole discussion about "drunkards" makes me wonder if we should also remove "cripples" from our sidewalks. They do slow us down and inconvenience us.

While highlighting a crime committed by a homeless person may hope to increase anger against them, it would be only fair to post all crimes for that day and figure the homeless vs. non-homeless ratio of perpetrators.

"Drunkard"?  Why not ne'er-do-well?  A few things have changed in the language since 1960.

You remind me of the kids who set homeless people on fire. I do absolutely nothing to "enable" these extemely sick guys as they succumb to their illness. I do not encourage them, give them money or  buy them drugs or alcohol. I assume I am speaking to an "adulterer" at the very least if not a "bastard", not knowing the marital staatus of your parents.

Some people have a part of their heart missing. Many of them don't even realize it. Most of them were born that way.  It's no more their fault than these pathetic dying alcoholics.
