« on: September 14, 2021, 03:10:52 PM »Yesterday, I crossed 34th avenue on 79th street with my bike, in "pedestrian mode", giving a wide berth to an elderly couple as they strolled on 34th. There was no other traffic and 34th was not busy. The lady couldn't help but inform me in a soft-tone, "We have a green light sir."
There's nothing I love more than completely ignoring comments like. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Amazing that these people have been straight up GIVEN the entire street for 30 blocks and not even a 1.5 years later, it's like it's been theirs forever. Now THAT's entitlement.
Sorry, I don't understand. Were you driving your bike through a red light? Or was it green and the elderly couple were incorrect? Will you clarify please.

Our laundry is a shared one in the building and we also host a nannyshare during the week so if anyone has any tips for managing around that (or even just pay expectations in general), I would take the advice.

We used a cleaner from the coop last month for a deep clean, they did a great job. Two cleaners, nearly four hours, needed little direction. This didn’t include windows and cabinet cleaning, which is additional. We would use them again.

Their bagels are very good, fresh, didn’t need toasting. They have all the usual spreads and sandwich choices (lox, eggs, cream cheese), plus many novel flavors like (jalapeño cream cheese and colorful bagels). Really glad they’re here in the neighborhood.

Yes we’re at 83rd and 35th Ave and noticed him or her too - they seem to be riding a loop around the area. Very loud and fast. Dangerous.
