Thanks for that Brook-Lynn, this is all very concerning, especially since these are all mostly buildings.

One thing I see my neighbors do is let people in the building..as for me, if you are walking behind me,,& I don't recognize you as a tenant, sorry but I won't hold the door for you.

I am so sorry to hear that Amissan!!! I need to invest in a better lock and now I will for sure.  Be safe!!

The fact remains that I DO live in Jackson Heights and have seen many windows open, so just posting this as a reminder, despite the shoddy reporting.

Just passed this new sign on the way home tonight. Its on Northern blvd eastbound, right before the GCP. Checked online, email bounced back, left a message on Facebook. Will call if no answer by tomorrow morning. Kind of was avoiding any telephone high pressure tactics.   :-\

Thanks and thanks for the great recommendations...so far. I've tried the Pollo a la brasa on Northern and 82nd and of course Pio Pio. I also loved the Buffet at Indian Taj!  Funny you mention Elmhurst, I just moved from there :)

Hi Everyone,

Lifelong New Yorker living in Jackson Heights for the first time. I've been here since about November 2012 and I absolutely love this neighborhood and plan to explore as much as I can and keep it local :)

New to the neighborhood, Cute place with outdoor space I suppose for the summer. Just tried this place, was pretty good actually..Fresh pie, thin crust. We had the Margherita and a Pepperoni. It would be nice if they served ( there are no alcoholic beverages). I am going to try Louie's since I've read so much about it although I am closer to Gianni's
