10-4pm Tasty Crafty Market! Family-friendly handmade indie crafters, recycle art, vintage, eco-friendly artisans and food entrepreneurs.  Join us at the LOT for St. Mary's Church, 10-31 49 Avenue in LIC.

11-12 Noon COLORWHEELZ by Julia Vallera on location. Cover the van in handmade art & tell stories about the art. *donation of materials, fabrics, papers, glues, tapes and crafting threads graciously accepted.

Limited pieces of INK WELL schoolhouse desks $35 each. Plus, antique child desk $5 bucks. All contributions for these pieces go to St. Mary's Church.

Listen to live melodies from local musicians, and nibble on mouth-wateringly savory treats and decadent desserts (including some delicious gluten-free varieties).  Explore a selection of dazzling, original accessories and jewelry while the tangy aroma of a zesty homemade snack wafts through the air.  Pop on your red nose and get ready to duck a pie when the Big Apple Circus joins the market on Saturday 5/21!  AgoraLIC will raffle a 4 pack of tickets to the Big Apple Circus at Cunningham Park, Queens.  Must be present to win at 1pm this Saturday.

We're excited to launch a new tasty crafty outdoor market at St. Mary's Lot (10-31 49th Avenue) between Jackson Avenue and Vernon Blvd. in Long Island City.  Take 7 train to Jackson-Vernon Station or E, R, M to Court Square - 23rd Street.

Meet the vendors, jazz trio at 10am and Luke on Blues guitar and vocals at 12:30pm.  Bring your appetite for devilish treats, gluten-free cookies for kids of all ages and south of the border fajitas and beans.  Did we say admission is free!

Agora LIC, a new open-air market, will open on May 7th at St. Mary's Lot (10-31 49 Avenue) - one block away from the thriving cultural crossroads of the Jackson Avenue Intersection in Long Island City.  Agora LIC will feature up to 50 booths of handmade crafts, fine art, specialty foods, and more for 16 Saturdays from May to November.  

In addition, to artisan vendors, Agora LIC will introduce a rotating line-up of Visiting Artists, who will add local flavor through music, culture, and visual art.  Market dates in May are 7, 14 & 21  (see flyer) or visit www.AgoraLIC.com

Queens World Film Festival Call for Volunteers on March 3, 4, 5 & 6th

Thank you for joining us as we prepare to provide an engaging film going experience to filmmakers and their audiences from around the world and around the corner. We plan to screen over 100 films in two locations, with 2 industry panels and several Q and A’s. View the schedule at www.queensworldfilmfestival.com.

We anticipate around 3,000 people at our events and we want every customer to have the best possible experience and we want to give the filmmakers the best possible support.
