Painting and Drawing classes for adults and teens

Hello neighbors,

I am a Jackson Heights dad and artist who specializes in painting and drawing, and I'm putting together a plan to teach art classes for adults and older children (ages 13 and up) here in the neighborhood. I am trying to gauge the level of interest, and would love to know what people are looking for.

The classes would be held at the Garden School, and could be offered during weekday evenings or weekend mornings.

Here's a little bit about me: I have an MFA in painting and drawing from SUNY Albany, have exhibited my work extensively in the United States and Europe for the past 10 years, and have taught art to undergraduate and graduate students.

Hi all,

I'm teaching a painting class at the Garden School in November for teens and adults. Details are listed below. You don't need to have any previous painting experience, and I will tailor my instruction based on your knowledge and interests. We will be working with oil paints in a relaxed, casual environment.

Cost: $120 + materials*

*If you have your own painting supplies, I will waive the materials fee. If you don't have them, I am happy to supply you with everything you will need for the class for $25 (paints, brushes, canvas board).
