Return of the JHBG Halloween Parade
« on: September 18, 2013, 07:29:04 PM »
As you probably know, the Jackson Heights Beautification Group, JHBG, each year hosts the Annual JHBG Halloween Parade along 37th Avenue, but last year it was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy.  Well this year the parade is back.

The parade is always held on Halloween, October 31st.   The parade will be held rain or shine.  The kids and young at heart will start marching at 5 PM on the dot. We would like to have the children line up on 89th Street just north of 37th Avenue at 4:30 PM. Each school/group is assigned a "BALLOON COLOR" to help keep the kids together.

Everyone is invited to put on a costume and walk down 37th Avenue.

The parade begins on 89th Street and ends at 76th Street just beyond PS 69 where each child will receive a bag of goodies in front of the Foodtown (the old Met Food) supermarket, complements of JHBG.

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail info@JHBG.org

Come join in as the hallowed Jackson Heights Halloween Parade celebrates another year- the 23rd year!!!
Jackson Heights Beautification Group coordinates this fabulous, all invited, Halloween parade. Come and cheer on
the schools as they represent our neighborhood throughout the parade. Many of the local merchants donate
generously so our kids can all have some safe but slightly scary fun -plus a hefty bag of treats - for Halloween eve.

On October 31st, Parade starts @5:00pm and the route goes from 89th St to 76th St on 37th Avenue.
