February 18–24: School Winter Recess
Join us for hot chocolate and a variety of daily activities. Touch cool animal biofacts like skulls and skeletons, and examine owl feathers under the microscope.

Bring your kids to the Zoo’s interactive Discovery Room for some wild—and warm—weekend fun throughout February. Each weekend will feature a different animal and holiday theme, and complimentary hot chocolate will be served. Kids can participate in arts and crafts, storytime, and a variety of games to inspire their scientific minds.

The Discovery Room is open from noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays as well as during the full week of school winter recess. For more information, call 718-271-1500.

Henry and Herbie, the Queens Zoo’s Flemish giant rabbits, invite you to our annual Egg–stravaganza, featuring spring-themed activities and games, including an egg hunt and Egg Jeopardy. Find Billy the Bunny, get your fill of chocolates and other holiday sweets, and make paper flowers and eggs to celebrate the season.

Egg-stravagant Activities
Saturday, March 22, 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
