October 6th - The Blessing of the Animals

At 10:00AM on Sunday the 6th, Saint Marks Church - 34th Ave between 81st and 82nd Sts will be having a Blessing of the Animals service.

Please feel free to bring your well behaved animals for this lovely service that is open to everyone in the neighborhood.

Update:

No elephants, llamas or turtles, but we had dogs, small, very small, medium and LARGE. Cats in carriers (thank goodness) and a lizard. All but one was well behaved and that one only wanted to sing with the choir. Dog, not cat or lizard.

Lots of fun, will be a re-run next year, God willing, so if you are thinking your Guinea Pigs and Gerbils need an outing, think first Sunday of October 2014.
