Incidents. Be careful.
« on: July 28, 2020, 10:28:12 AM »
Hello,
I work near Bryant Park, yesterday, a man from my company was jumped by 2 men on 37th street, around noon. He was punched, but is okay.

This morning, as I descended the subway steps @ Diversity  Plaza, a homeless man w/ a cane was coming up other side, he then extends his arm,  & starts tapping me w/ the cane

Part of my post was cut off, point is to be extra careful , especially around our subway entrances that are less active these days, like the Diversity Plaza. The homeless man was harassing me, and trying to hit me w/ the cane,  it was very uncomfortable.

The homeless man rapped me with a cane from across the handrail. It was very uncomfortable. As I descended into the darkness beyond the Himalayan scarf shop and the barbers, I passed a man with outstretched arm and a cup. The cup was not full. Another sign of the times.

I jumped the turnstile to blend in with the autonomous zone. I hesitated to purchase a bag of spiced mangos because the woman, well under five feet tall, held her mask under another threshold - her upper lip. One would think if not for the coronavirus, her mustache would be reason enough.

Finally, I descended into the darkness...
