I remember a "King of the Hill" episode where Peggy buys a bookstore only to find out there's no money in it. I've heard it's usually people with old money who open them up as a hobby and not a source of income. It's gotta be a real high-risk venture this day in age. Like our local shoemaker.

There's a Spanish language bookstore on 80th St, just south of Roosevelt.  It may technically be Elmhurst, but it's part of this neighborhood. I think it's called "Barcos de Papel".

Book store forgetaboutit!!!  Jackson Heights is known for 99cents stores , tacky store front and unmaintained bodega.
