Hey guys! I'm an anthropology student and am doing my final paper on Jackson Heights! My focus is mainly 82nd St around Roosevelt and 37th Ave - but any feedback is appreciated!

I was hoping people could give me their concerns/impressions of the area.
For lifelong residents - what has changed? What has improved? What has not?
For newcomers - what drew you here?

Thanks for any help!!!! :)

All my best,

Hey Juila!

Would it be too much to ask for you to reply here? Whatever information you are willing to share as it pertains to the questions would be great; primarily, I'm most interested in knowing what your concerns for the area are, and how the area has changed (if you've lived here long enough to see that.)

Thank you!!

Hi Lilith. I also sent you a private message. I think perhaps people are more willing to be honest and open if their views aren't posted for all to see here on the bulletin board, especially because a bunch of us pretty much know who each other is in "real life." One of the great things about Jackson Heights is that it's a very neighborhoody neighborhood!
