Google maps streetview shows a financial transaction going on on the street in the Bronx.

382 E 148th St. NY NY

Double-click on the transaction between the two people closest to the building for a close-up.

That is wild

The caption below the scene is in Italian and translates to

Access to all the real estate market of New York

So I guess the guy just bought himself a house.

Here's another cool map that lets you map a location of your choice and then superimpose it over any other location in the world for comparison purposes.  I created a MAPfrappe comparing Citi Field to Yankees Stadium.  Not a very interesting result, but I see the possibilities.  Check out some of the samples they have by clicking on the "Show Examples" button.

If you give it a try, make sure to clear out the results of my comparison before you start.

Here’s how you can use this page…

You can use this page to answer questions like these: How big is Manhattan compared to my home town? How big is Texas compared to France? If I put the Golden Gate Bridge in my neighborhood, what landmarks would it overlap?

MAPfrappe

Keep in mind, the MAPFrappe site states:  This page may not be accurate. Don't depend on it for anything important.  It's pretty cool though!

This isn't a Google map, but rather a newly launched Department of City Planning application that allows users to check zoning regulations throughout New York City.
