Dall'Italia
« on: February 18, 2012, 12:44:42 PM »
A good friend of mine who was trying to open a store here in Jackson Heights is launching his new website. Dall'Italia offers items ranging from housewares to body lotions, all made in or inspired by Italian design. The best part.... he is offering free shipping to the residents of Jackson Heights. Just use the code below. I encourage people to take a look and support it. It's a great site for gifts or getting something special for your home!

For free shipping to residents of JH-the code to enter at checkout is VI0916

Free shipping is always a benefit!

If the business is located in JH, why can't we just walk there? Walking is also beneficial.

I should have checked the site first, my bad.

Indeed the things are beautiful!

And I can always walk to my mail box until the physical store is open.  :)

Yes... that's correct. He has been trying to open a place here in Jackson Heights but as been unsuccessful in finding one with reasonable lease terms etc.

Beautiful things!

I'd love to see a store like this here.

Best of luck to your friend and hope to see them on the avenue soon.
I also channel Gladys Gilbert!

That's what I'm talking about -- small business owners can't find a reasonable lease, and the neighborhood is going corporate with all these banks and chains. Anyone here on the Community Board who can help me start the conversation?

Post here or PM me.
