Dear Friend:

If you have ever considered becoming a foster parent, here is your chance to learn more. Forestdale is a foster care and family services agency based in Forest Hills. We work with over 400 children in foster care,  many of whom are from the Jackson Heights/Corona/Elmhurst area. As a foster parent, you have the chance to turn a child’s life around by providing steady love and guidance. It is a wonderful way to give back to your community.

At Forestdale we value and support our foster parents. Foster parents have access to ongoing training in child development, mental health and other topics that strengthen their skills, as well as an on-call social worker to answer any questions that arise. Forestdale also organizes frequent outings and activities for children, youth and foster parents.

If you are interested, please consider attending an information session at our campus on 67-35 112 St, Forest Hills.
