We need helpers to assist with tree care in Jackson Heights. Our streets are green, yes, but some of our trees are in real need of better
living conditions. Packed soil, too many bricks weighing down roots and no mulch to hold water for dry days. Help change this and more,
with the JHBG Green Agenda volunteers. If you have an hour or 3-4 hours, doesn't matter. Digging, mulching, planting perennials. All levels of experience welcome. Experienced gardeners are given extra love.
You can meet mid-block at 78th street and Travers Park Saturday to show your green love for Jackson Heights and meet your friendly
neighbors. Bring gloves and small shovel if you have them and wear old clothes. See you then.
