Does Anyone Know How/Where to Fix a Stereo Receiver?

Hey everyone.  I have a great Kenwood stereo receiver that has stopped working.  It turns on, all the buttons work, but there is no sound coming out of my speakers.  I tried another set of speakers that I know work and those didn't work as well.  I've tried different cables, and anything else I can think of, but I can't get it to produce sound.  The receiver looks great and is in great condition, but it's a giant doorstop unless I can get it fixed.  Anyone know how to fix it or somewhere I could take it?  Thanks!

I don't know of a shop, but just to doublecheck (because I do this all the time) check to see if
A. there is a button that turns on/off multiple speaker sets. If you only have speakers plugged into A and it is activating only speakers plugged into B OR if neither speaker "chocie" is activated, you get no sound

B. if you have a TAPE input/output that has a MONITOR function (that is, instead of listening to what's coming out of the stereo, you're listening to what's being recorded by the tape player), it may be activated an, since you aren't recording, there is no signal to come through your speakers.

Thanks Ed.  I tried both of those to no avail.  I'm thinking there may be a fuse blown or something but I'm not sure.  I don't have any idea how to even check it.

Too bad Mr. Press wasn't still in business. Its probably the fuse but sometimes it is too expensive to get fixed and if its older than five years it is not compatible with other equipment. I would save the speakers and buy a new receiver.
