Sophisticated New York Musical Experience in JH

Each Thursday night at Novo, you can hear the Bethany Wilde Trio live.  I was there last Thursday and thoroughly enjoyed the jazz-inflected standards sung by Bethany with the great accompaniment of piano and base.  Why go to the Oak Room or the Carlyle for overpriced food and drink when you can hear the same kind of music just a short stroll from home?  I have been to the Manhattan hotel rooms and the quality of the music wasn't any better.  And at the Carlyle they serve reheated frozen french fries!  Support your local musicians and have a good time

aw, i like the carlyle... :angel:

but bethany is super talented and definitely worth seeing perform!

Absolutely!! Please support live music in Jackson Heights and places like Novo who have the good sense to have live music regularly.

The Jim Hershman trio plays there every Monday. His group always sounds great and you might recognize Jim from the Broadway at the White House concert that was on PBS recently.
