What is THE STRANGER PROJECT?

The Stranger Project, stories by unknown is a public art project inspired by the wish to establish a sense of community in the neighborhood of Jackson Heights, in Queens, New York, one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in the city and in the nation.

We will be collecting urban stories, memorable anecdotes, silly mishaps, and just whatever you’d like to share about your life in the neighborhood.

These stories will be shared back with the community, anonymously and in different languages.
