Moving from Ireland to Jackson Heights
« on: December 21, 2010, 05:19:55 PM »
Hi all,

I'm a Queens native, living in Ireland for the past 6 years and moving back with Irish husband in March. I grew up hanging out in Jackson Heights but my husband has only been over to the states twice with me on holiday. We're keen on living in the historic landmark district but would like to rent first before we buy, just to make sure husband is 100% happy, as he's from the Cork countryside. We are looking for a unit with 2 bathrooms and 2-3 bedrooms.

Would anyone know how to get started and how likely would it be that a seller would sublet for the renters, with the possibility of purchasing?

Cheers!

Your best bet is to contact a Real Estate office.   Michael P. Carfagna is a real estate broker in Jackson Heights and has an office on 82nd Street.

His website is:
