Jackson Heights Life

I don't know about nor have I heard about a secret Peruvian restaurant in Jackson Heights, but this reminds of when my husband worked in the garment industry.  He worked for a fashion consulting firm, but behind the scenes, they had all these fabulous people cutting trending fabrics and colored threads while coordinating them in beautiful books to be shipped to fashion designers.  Anyway, these behind the scenes people would have yet more behind the scenes work.  They'd prepare huge amounts of food and bring it in to work for sale.  The sales were always low key, but very popular at the same time.  Let's just say that no one at that company was eating Blimpie sandwiches for lunch.  They were having homemade Peruvian ceviches, Ecuadorean humitas, etc.  It was very cool, lucrative and delicious all at the same time.
