We are getting a New High School, kind of

The Civic Leadership Academy, which was supposed to open this school year at JHS 157 in Forest Hills but was forced out is coming to us.

Now scheduled to open in September 2008, it will be housed in a new building at 45-10 94th Street, in nearby Elmhurst

Here is some more information on the school.  Given the very limited options for HS students in the area, this looks like a much-needed addition.
