found dog

Found a dog on 84th street and 35th ave.  Small male, seems like a poodle with black and gray coloring. Has rabies tags from Sunnyside pet healthcare center.  I've left a message with the vet office and posted on craigslist.  If anyone sees any signs or knows of a missing dog, please let me know.  Thanks.

Just in cse you don't already know this - you can go to www.petfinder.com and both post a "found" classified and search the "lost" ones.

also he may be microchipped so any local vet can scan him. I live in that area and will ask around about the dog.

Checked for a chip but he didn't have one.  And I posted on petfinder.  Unfortunately when you find a dog on Sunday there's not much you can do but wait!

Bella,

Try calling all the vets in the area as well, people usually post signs at the Vet.  I found a dog last year and I posted signs in the area and dropped off flyers at all the Vets in the area...the dog was found because a neighbor saw my flyer at the Vet's office.

Good luck finding the owner and I hope this dog has a happy ending as well.
