A fluke? You think they were served flounder instead of beef and they did not even notice? Come now.

elyaqim, according to my friend, the sauce on the burger could have been fluke.  it sure tasted "fishy" to him!  BTW you are now the champion insomniac.

Spanish, they had a burger listed on the menu.  If I remember it was a chipolte sauce burger... or something close....
So my friend specifically said he wanted a regular cheese burger and not the one on the menu.  I'm guessing the cook just added cheese to the menu burger.  And then overcooked it to boot!

Oddly enough we still liked the place enough to give it another try.  I liked their fries (not as great as 5 GUYS) but good.
First, do no harm.

To me Novo is very hit or miss.  I have had mostly miss there, maybe one hit.

A friend of mine just had an incident there where the waiter changed his credit card receipt and added 30 dollars to the tip.  When he found it he went to the manager who handled the incident and refunded the money.  I can only hope this waiter was fired and that the rest of the staff are more trustworthy.
