Place that will cut my rabbit's nails?
« on: June 11, 2009, 04:13:26 PM »
I have 2 bunnies that need their nails cut.  I don't think I'll be able to hold them down and cut them myself, and don't really want to be the one to traumatize them... does anyone know of a vet where I can get their nails cut?  I believe there are vet hospitals on Queens Blvd, but I really need one with a parking lot... I'm not about to park 2 miles away and walk far with them (the 2 together with the carrier are heavy!) and there is no way I'm lugging them up and down stairs for public transportation.

Does anyone know of a place to have this done with a parking lot?  Other towns are fine, and it's ok if it's not a rabbit vet, since the only thing I will have done there is have their nails cut.  If they have late evening hours or weekend hours, that would be ideal.

Hi,

This is the place that I use for my doggies. They are very convenient and come to you in a grooming van:

Beauty in Motion
Mobile Groomers
(718) 353-2705

You can call and find out if they do rabbits.

Good Luck

oh i LOVE bunnies.....my first pet when i was a child  :smitten:

there's a vet in astoria that has no parking lot but is up in an area where my ex and i could always find a space to take our cats.

astoria veterinary group

(718) 777-0100

2354 Steinway St
Astoria, NY 11105

they did grooming stuff -- nails, teeth cleaning and such -- at good prices a few years back.

maybe at least worth a call.

but if Cee's option is viable, that would seem to be the best

if you wrap them in a towel and only expose     one paw      at a time its      easier
