Dog wandering in the 80's
« on: March 26, 2009, 04:02:17 PM »
Two days in a row my husband spotted a small white (appeared to be poodle to him) but he could not grab the dog before it took off. He says it is dirty and afraid of people. Anyone missing a dog? Im going out later to see if I find him/her. Walking north on 85 street turning east on 34 avenue. today thurs at 3:45 or so

If you go to www.petfinder.com and click on Classifieds - Lost - New York - and then put in"dog as a key word, on about page 3 there is a white (blind) Maltese that was lost in Astoria.  See if it looks like the one you're seeing.  The dog was lost on 2/10 but animals can wander for aafield and for some time before they are, with any luck, found and rescued.

I think we've found the owner but now we need to find the dog.Apparently the dogs name is Chanel and its scared but usually friendly so if anyone has any sightings of this dog. It is gray/white/black poodle not a white dirty as we thought. She has been missing for 2 days from elmhurst the owner has been driving around the 80's and apparently someone mentioned that their super has the dog so if you know anything please tell! thanks
