 This is hard to imagine it being such a deal in this day and age, even in the Catholic schools, but there is something sad and so backward about this happening. I hope he gets some great
offers from the publicity.

There are 8 major Religions in the United States that prohibit same sex marriage.  These are American Baptist Churches, Mormon, Islam, Catholic, Lutheran, Orthodox Jewish Movement, Southern Baptist and United Methodist Church.

While that may be true, religious institutions are somewhat protected from civil rights regulations in this country, while secular institutions are not.
