Info on Linden Court
« on: September 18, 2011, 04:37:56 PM »
Hi
I was looking for real estate in JH when I came across Linden Court at this site:http://www.jacksonheightsproperties.com/agent/listingphoto2.php?listing=04189a71a09f90ea59b3e27bb80584f8&photo=2&username=vsimkhov

It is a bit more than what i am willing to pay for, especially when considering that it will be cash payment.

I am wondering if anyone here have any information or input on this property?
I really like the place..(well it does look nice and roomy in the picture).. but I dont have any idea when it comes to real estate.

I am just wondering what is the market value for this kind of property.

I also find a few more link on the same building, but maybe on different apartments:
http://www.mpcproperties.com/queenscooplistings.php?cid=196&m=1&i=32
http://www.mpcproperties.com/queenscooplistings.php?cid=196&m=1&i=23

Please help! My hubby is oversea and it is up to me  to find a place before next year (2012).My son will be attending a college in NYC so it is absolutely  necessary that we find a place close to the subway.
I am planning to come to JH next month just to get the feeling of things, so any suggestions (agents/building/location etc..) is much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Eden:

Linden Court is a lovely building and has a lot of things going for it. i personally have a few issues with the walk up notion (i live on the first floor now, but prefer an elevator for higher). the price is actually fairly low for the area, per square foot, and you won't do a whole lot better, really in terms of price. a similar apartment in manhattan or certain areas of brooklyn would be twice as much. definitely, look around a bit, but for a nice 2 br, expect to pay at least 250-275K

best of luck!

Hi
I just saw that Linden Court is a co-op.I am not sure what type of co-op that is,but I am quite sure that I am not qualified for HDFC co-op with income restriction. Any ideas on the market for condominiums in Jackson Heights? Thanks
