No doubt in 1824, 1876, 1888, and 2000...when the presidents also did not get the popular vote but won the electoral college...folks were annoyed.

But it is our system. Annoyances included.

Instead of wasting energy fighting with someone who will vote Biden, go out into the world and convince others to ensure that Biden wins both the popular vote and the electoral college. That would be the smart pro active thing to do.

Let's all take a moment to congratulate our new president and vice-president -- and commend the losing candidate for the grace and decorum he's going to display in the wake of the election.

There is absolutely no point in elections if people don't believe that they are run fairly.  Ultimately the courts will decide this election, not a bunch of media pundits.

you don't want the people to get too uppity, eh?

the former president tweeted -- in all caps -- "STOP THE COUNTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

we did. he got his wish. why do you have such disdain for his wishes?

Throw salt all you want, but this country has laws and they will be abided by.

indeed they will.

and no amount of obfuscation on the part of a wannabe despot will change that.

America has prevailed against a cancer that threatened to kill it.

now, we move on, as we have in dozens of previous elections. if the loser chooses to force an involuntary removal from the Oval Office, so be it. there's nothing in writing that demands a peaceful transfer of power.

How you can be so flippantly violent just shows how deranged people have become in this country.  I expect you'll be on the front lines when the unhinged masses storm the white house in this violent fantasy of yours.  Good luck.

official Biden campaign communication from a few days ago....nice try though!

From theguardian.com:

Report: The Trump admin declined Pfizer offer for more vaccine doses

Administration officials turned down an offer from Pfizer this summer to secure additional doses of its vaccine, the New Tork Times has reported.

The Times reports:

Trump administration officials passed when Pfizer offered in late summer to sell the U.S. government additional doses of its Covid-19 vaccine, according to people familiar with the matter. Now Pfizer may not be able provide more of its vaccine to the United States until next June because of its commitments to other countries, they said.

The US is expected to authorize the two-dose treatment from Pfizer and BioNTech this week and has bought up enough of the vaccine for 50m Americans. Meanwhile the European Union has secured 200m doses and Britan plans to begin vaccinations on Tuesday using the Pfizer treatment.

Donald Trump today signed an executive order designed to prioritize that vaccines get to “American citizens before sending it to other nations” but it’s unclear that the order would have any practical effect.

Fascinating and very ironic.

-----------------------------------

Across the U.S., Trump improved his margins in 78 of the nation’s 100 majority-Latino counties, according to Politico. In parallel with that national trend, the New York City data strongly suggests that Latino voters in Corona, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst and Woodhaven also swung for Trump.

while this district-by-district doesn't have racial/ethnic breakdowns, it does offer an interesting snapshot of various neighborhoods.
