Stray Declawed Female Kitty
« on: December 26, 2008, 12:02:42 AM »
Hello and Happy Holidays.

About a month ago while walking my dog I made friends with a little cat. She is VERY friendly and likes my dog too.  I wish I could take her in, but my partner is allergic to cats.  Total snuggle bug!  When I hold her she buries her head into my arms.

If anyone has lost their cat or wants to foster/adopt this wonderful little girl, please respond.  She's been hanging out in my building's back yard...near the 74th St train station.  I have been feeding her wet cat food and the occasional people food when I'm out of the canned stuff.  She is starving and cold, but otherwise in good health.  Declawed and most likely spayed. I'm afraid she won't make it on her own for too long.

Any suggestions or inquiries would be appreciated. I already called the ASPCA and Humane Society, but there were NO VACANCIES!  Too Bad.

Here are two more pics.

I hope somebody recognizes her or wants to give her a home.

T, have you put photos and note up at the surrounding vets?  There's the Jackson Heights Vet. Clinic on 35th Ave. around 71st St.    They have a bulletin board for things like this.  Plus local grocery stores have a bulletin board.  More than likely, she was abandoned but you never know. Someone could be looking for her.

I'm also allergic to cats.  And I love them.  Grew up in a cats and dog household but developed allergies in my twenties.  Good luck.
First, do no harm.
