Hi all, in light of the global pandemic we’re all faced with, and due to the huge impact it’s having on communities such as ours I wanted to reach out and hear from you about ways you may know of to have the best / most direct impact on families and individuals who may be struggling during this time. Does anyone have connections to any organizations / food banks / emergency housing situations within JH that may need additional support right now? Are there any individuals or families that anyone knows who could benefit from masks / TP / food / etc? Let’s start the conversation and see what we can maybe do to have an impact. Thanks and stay healthy!

Democratic candidate for NY State Assembly District 34 Jessica González-Rojas has a mutual aid phone bank initiative. You can sign up to volunteer on her campaign site here: https://www.votejgr.com/phonebank

I donated to Make The Road's COVID response fund, as I feel they do good work to support the local community: https://connect.clickandpledge.com/w/Form/9a139c0d-d9fb-418e-8e96-117f0e0c841c
