Seniors (over 60) supermarket shopping hours locally?
« on: March 18, 2020, 08:52:28 AM »
I've read that Stop N Shop is planning to have the seniors hours tomorrow and I see that Whole Foods has it today at Columbus Circle. Any other senior hours for shopping locally that folks know about?

I read on Facebook that Foodtown was doing this from 7 am to 8:30 am, however, the person who reported it said they went at 7:15 am and that most shoppers were 40 and under and that Foodtown was making no effort whatsoever to control that.

Any updates if the Senior times are being enforced at Foodtown on 37th ave? Are they happening each day from 7-8:30?

I walked by there around 3:30 yesterday and there was a line outside to help maintain social distancing inside.
