Christmas Eve dinners

 For the record. Both Armando's and Uncle Peters both did wonderful Christmas eve dinners last night
from reports first and second hand. Armando's had the seven fishes meal available and Uncle Peters
gave every adult guest a shot of coquito after dinner.

 Highly recommend both restaurants for family holiday meals with the bonus of being able to walk home.

No politics, no drag queen story hour, no board games....Just consistently good food and service.

Nice! The Queensboro had a Feast of the Seven Fishes Pizza, and we gave out house-made Christmas cookies.

We had no board games or drag queens that night, and thus avoided triggering the more hate-filled and intolerant people amongst us for one night, hooray!

Yes, we can handle a plurality of celebrations here in Jackson Heights, right? Some traditional, some inventive, some with festivities that are outside of any of the usual stuff. But hopefully, all the gatherings were fun and caring for those present. Cheers!

Sorry that you were  triggered by my post. All I was saying is  if the food and service are good..... that's what  makes a place stand on its own.  I happen to think Armandos and Uncle Peters always serve up something nice. Has nothing to do with being "hate filled" or "intolerant"... just my POV.  You don't need all the "other" stuff if people come for the food. I've been to all the places mentioned, and had Christmas Eve dinner at the best place ever...my own kitchen.

I think it's brilliant that some venues host fun events...in addition to their cuisine.
