Jackson Heights Life

Single mom of 1-year-old ISO mother's helper.  Hours negotiable but something like M-F 6-9pm and Sat/Sun 1-6pm.  Good pay and good working conditions.  Jackson Heights.

I need help with all kinds of things, from daily maintenance to one-time larger projects.  Examples:

Dinner dishes
Prepping breakfast and baby's lunch
Laundry
Taking out garbage and recycling
Errands
Walking small (8 lb) dog when dog walker not available
Grocery shopping (I drive to Brooklyn...will explain)
Carrying groceries up (apt is a fourth floor walk-up)
Mending (sewing snaps on a bib with defunct velcro, e.g.)
Taking down Christmas lights (when it's time)
Installing a new car seat
Figuring out next stage baby carriers
Sorting outgrown baby things
Baby proofing
Rearranging furniture
Coming with me to IKEA

These are just examples.  I have a regular housekeeper, so routine housecleaning will not be requested. 

Willingness to go up and down the stairs, willingness to jump in and help with whatever is needed, and also a willingness to be as fragrance-free as possible when working are key.
