One person with verifiable W-2 income of at least $65K in the household. (Not a couple, for example, in which each earns $35K.)

Income requirement $65k seems so random.  What if the buyer is purchasing the apartment outright, has half a million dollars in the bank and now earns only $40k?

It is the coop board's income requirement for a two bedroom unit at the Northridge III complex.

Point is....it makes no sense.  The board needs to look at the whole picture.

It also means no self-employed persons making $100K a year.
