I've seen Wegman mentioned elsewhere. Looks much bigger than Trader Joe. Anyone have any comparative experience?

People love Trader Joe's, and people love Wegman's.  But they're very different experiences.  Trader Joe's has small stores, with a curated, rotating selection.  Wegman's prides itself on broad selection, customer service, and food you can eat in the store:

I've only been to Wegman's once, 30 years ago, while on the way back from Toronto on a road trip with friends.  We stopped at a Wegman's outside Buffalo for some car snacks.  I remember the soda aisle was so massive, there was furniture for sale in the middle of it.  I ended up buying an inexpensive desk and throwing it in the back of the station wagon for the long drive back to NYC.
