On Monday August 10th the Jackson Heights library will be open to pick up books requested online.
My own personal experience is to rely on the website (not the app)
You can request a book/ other media, and select a branch for pickup and they will send you an e-mail when it’s there to pickup.  Overall it’s been great, I have been going to the East Elmhurst location, but I prefer JH as I can walk there.
The library experience is different because you cannot browse, or even sit - but having the ability to request anything in the catalog and picking it up is fantastic.
