 my problem is with the Katz people, who robocall twice a day. once around 10 AM and once at six-ish. the call starts out the same every time, and it's always from a different number -- spoofed, maybe?

The Queens Democratic Party is going crazy with the whole Cabán selection. If Katz loses it spells doom for the party heads. Interesting to watch.

The real reason the Queens machine is pushing Katz (an obvious party hack with no criminal experience) along with Governor is to protect the corrupt criminals who run our government. This all but assures that these people feeding off the backs of hardworking people never are held to account for their corrupt assignments of positions or awarding of contracts to their members of families and donors. They know with Katz at the helm, the fix is in and all that is needed to stop an investigation is a phone call. Remember the former heads of the Assembly and Senate are in prison. This is how corrupt our system is. One party rule does this and it will now accelerate with the Senate in Democratic hands.

The irony of the tribalism of identity politics is that when the minority gets the power they are equally discriminatory towards others as the previous status quo. (Besides their own tribe.)

And what am I supposed to take from Katz that she impregnated herself with sperm from Curtis Sliwa? I used to watch Sliwa on cable and have noted his anti minority dialogue on many occasions. She must find him and his views amusing. Doesn’t this whole background give anyone concern?

Did any candidate sleep with Ron Kuby? If so, they've got my vote.

A looong time ago, long before Sliwa, Katz was known/perceived to be lesbian. I sort of think it's true, having known her when I myself was in politics. If true, she has not used that identity to pander for the LGBTQ vote.
