Yes virtually everyone I know who has a cat (or dog I guess) orders from Chewy. They got into the market early, I guess, and scooped up all the business.

They also have good customer service--when I decided I had to switch litter brands and I'd already stockpiled a bunch of it I bought from them, I called to ask if they would take the unopened litter back and they said no, just donate it someplace, and we will refund your money.

They promptly replace anything that gets damaged in transit, etc. Cat food and litter are both really heavy to transport, so I would only buy from someplace that delivers. And some pet stores do--just not that one.

Anyway, I also have started to patronize Petco in the mall near La Cannelle--big, clean store, huge selection, discount programs, they do grooming have adoption services, and they have great customer service, too. I go there when I can't wait for a delivery from Chewy, though I am on their autoship program, but sometimes I need something fast.

A plug for Whiskers in Astoria - they do free deliveries to JH. They carry the raw cat food that I used to get from Coral and that is not available at Petco or from Chewy (which I know other ppl in JH buy because Coral used to run out of it when we went to buy!). They have a frequent buyers program too.
