Good AC installer?
« on: May 02, 2018, 05:01:13 PM »
I want my window AC, which is right now sitting in the window with cardboard around it, installed well, with plexi on either side so we can get some light in. Who's up to the task?

I used someone on TaskRabbitt for this last year. The person was great and the price was one very reasonable. To ensure you get a good person sort the listings by number of tasks and positive reviews. Guy I used was Corey M. About $50 a hr.

I had a handyman named Peter Kary install my A/C (two different times) a couple years ago. Friendly, reasonable price (don't remember exactly), and did a good job.
The cell # I have for him, different from what's on Yelp: 646-742-7030

Yelp says "closed"—not sure if he's actually closed up shop (he was getting a little old to be hoisting air conditioners, so it's possible).

They seem to still be offering services through Amazon Home Services, at least:

(But you'll probably get a better rate reaching out to him directly)
